Key Info:
Napapijri was born in 1987 in the shadow of Europe’s highest peak, Mont Blanc, where an Italian manufacturer of travel bags gave outdoor apparel a new meaning by combining innovative materials and close attention to style. Today, Napapijri continues to create adventure ready pieces with their assortment of functional yet stylish outdoor essentials.
In 1987, founder Guiliana Rosset found himself looking up at Mont Blanc, and wishing he had a bit of kit that simply didn’t exist yet. His first product was the iconic Bering Bag, which at just 60cm long became an instant staple for intrepid explorers and outdoor enthusiasts alike, who felt the same way as Rosset. An Italian brand “with a sort-of-Finnish name, and a Norwegian flag as its logo” Napapijri prides itself on learning from the past, designing for the future, exploring new possibilities, new shapes and new technologies. In 2015, the brand banned fur and down from all its products, adopting a “circular design” ethos that includes fully recyclable clothing.
