Bordallo Pinheiro popularized ceramic swallows in the Portuguese popular imaginary and today are a decorative element that has become fashionable in our homes, terraces, and commercial premises.

These funny swallows are made in a small ceramic workshop run by António and Lucía, artisan masters from northern Portugal. They perform each ceramic swallow, using a mold, and then paint them by hand in enameled finish.
