Temple is an open edition print that has been taken from an original abstract painting by Arie Vardi. With a colour palette of blues, greens and sandy tones. This painting sees Arie using a different style of painting. It has textures that have been created with his palette knife, which in turn creates layers of dappled colour. This painting looks over an expanse of sandy beach to the sea beyond.

Chile born Arie Vardi moved to Jerusalem to study Graphic Design. Following graduation in 1991 he moved to Scotland. Many of his paintings are inspired by his love of Perthshire, Scotland and the Mediterranean. This is reflected in the vibrant colour palette he uses in his work. Arie paints using acrylic, oils and mixed media, and often experiments with light and the way it moves across a scene creating shadows and pops of colour.
